Q. Will Sermon Shots work with lectures or speeches (or other videos aside from sermons)?

Yes, Sermon Shots can technically work with lectures and speeches, as long as they're in video format.

However, to set proper expectations, our AI is specifically trained to find "Amen" moments from sermons, so it may not be as effective at identifying the best moments for clips in lectures or speeches. The platform will still process your content and create clips, but the AI suggestions might not capture the most engaging parts as well as it does with sermon content.

That said, you can still:

  • Upload lectures or speeches in video format
  • Generate transcripts
  • Create summaries and other repurposed content
  • Manually select your own clip segments from the transcript if the AI suggestions aren't ideal
  • The platform supports MP4, MOV, and other common video formats, and you can upload from your computer, YouTube, Vimeo, or several other sources.

If you'd like to try it out, just keep in mind that you might need to manually choose the best moments for clipping rather than relying on the AI suggestions.
