This FAQ answers common questions from pastors and church leaders about who owns the content created or uploaded in Sermon Shots, and how it’s used.

Q. Do we own the content we upload or create on Sermon Shots?

A. Yes. You retain full ownership of all the content you upload or create using Sermon Shots. That includes videos, sermon clips, images, titles, and captions. We do not claim any rights over your content. We also do not show any Sermon Shots branding on any of the output.

Q. Can Sermon Shots use our content for marketing or any other purpose?

A. No. We do not use, publish, analyze, or reuse any of your content—not for training, advertising, or anything else, unless we explicitly ask for permission. Your content is private and remains under your control.

Q. Is there Sermon Shots branding on our videos?

A. No. We do not add any branding or watermark to your final exports. Everything you create looks like it came directly from your church.

Q. Do we need to worry about copyright issues?

A. Sermon Shots doesn’t monitor or restrict the content you upload—but you are responsible for making sure you have the rights to use any images, music, or media you include. We also use licensed third-party tools to help you access stock media, but you should still double-check usage rights if your church publishes videos publicly (e.g., YouTube, Facebook).

Q. Is our content and data safe?

A. Yes. We use secure systems to store and protect your content and personal data. Sermon Shots will never sell, share, or access your media files unless needed for technical support or required by law—and even then, only with your permission.
