Q. Can I upload text, scripts, or manuscripts of the sermon ahead of time?

Right now, Sermon Shots is designed to work with video uploads only. You can upload your sermon videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, your computer, or even live stream directly to us. Then we create all the devotionals, summaries, and other resources from that video content.

We don't currently have the ability to upload a text manuscript or written sermon to generate repurposed content such as discussion guides, summaries, or devotionals. All of our features work by analyzing the actual video and audio of your delivered sermon.

However, here's a great workaround that could help you get those devotionals and summaries ahead of time:

If you (or your pastor) practice your sermon and record that practice session, you can upload that video to Sermon Shots! This would let you generate all the devotionals, discussion guides, summaries, and other resources before you actually deliver the sermon on Sunday. Many pastors do practice runs anyway, so this could be a perfect solution.
